Woodcarving Craftsmanship
Sampa Lhundup was born in Rusar Township, Nagchu County, Tibet into a family of nomads. His family tree had a rich tradition of woodcarving, with both his father and grandfather being skilled artisans. From an early age, Sampa was immersed in this craft, learning the intricate skills and deep cultural significance of Tibetan woodcarving.
